Is the reset people are talking about the same as my usage limit resetting?
Codex · Claude · reset cardsNot necessarily. There are at least three distinct events: your personal usage period ending, a provider granting or resetting extra usage, and a reset card that you need to use yourself.
A public announcement may not apply to your account at the same time or in the same way. Check who the announcement covers, then check the status shown in your own account.

How do I find out when my account will reset?
personal usage · countdownOpen the product you are using and look for a reset time in its usage or limit notice. Note the date, time, and time zone.
If the product does not show a time, public reset history cannot tell you exactly when your account will reset. The personal countdown here only reminds you at a time you enter yourself.

Can I definitely use the product again when the countdown reaches zero?
time reached · verify your accountZero only means the time you entered has arrived. An incorrect entry, a time-zone mistake, a change in usage rules, or a service outage can all make the actual result different.
When the reminder goes off, return to the product to check your available usage or retry your task. This countdown is not an official promise that your access has been restored.
How should I read UTC, Beijing, and Los Angeles times?

How should I read UTC, Beijing, and Los Angeles times?
time zones · daylight saving timeAn exact point in time needs a date and a time zone. Beijing is UTC+8; Los Angeles observes daylight saving time, so a fixed year-round offset will not work there.
On the personal timer page, enter an exact time in your device's local time zone. You can change the display time zone in the timer list without changing when the countdown ends.
Am I out of usage, or is the service down?

Am I out of usage, or is the service down?
usage limit · status · error messageKeep the full error message. If it explicitly says "usage limit," says you have run out of usage, or gives a reset time, check your personal usage page first.
If connections fail, errors persist, or many users cannot access the service at once, check the official status page. A healthy status page still does not prove that your account has usage left.

reset cards · eligibilityWhether you receive a reset card, when it arrives, and whether missed cards can be issued later depend on the promotion or account rules. A community screenshot shows one person's experience, not that every account qualifies.
Check the original announcement for eligible plans, dates, and other conditions, then check your own account. Do not upgrade based on an unconfirmed promise of a later credit.

Will my countdown still alert me after I close the page?
browser notifications · calendar · ICSThe on-page timer and browser notifications need the page to keep running. Closing it, putting your device to sleep, or background restrictions may stop or delay the alert.
To get a reminder after closing the page, export an .ics file and import it into your calendar app. Confirm that notifications are enabled for the imported event.

Does the countdown need my password or API key?
saved locally · no sign-inNo. The personal countdown uses the time you enter and saves it only in this browser's local storage. It does not read your account usage.
Your timers will not automatically follow you if you clear your browser data or switch devices. You can export a calendar reminder ahead of time.
Does an 80% reset probability mean an official reset is coming soon?

Does an 80% reset probability mean an official reset is coming soon?
probability estimates · third-party observationsNo. Unless there is an explicit official announcement, a third-party probability is usually an estimate based on past intervals, public updates, or other signals.
When evaluating a forecast, check its evidence, when it was updated, when it stops applying, and whether it has been tested against past outcomes. A percentage alone is not enough to plan important work around.
